In the 1970s Soviet Union, a German Shepherd named Palma hides at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport and befriends a boy named Kolya Lazarev, who has lost his mother. The film is based on real events that took place in 1974-1976 and was released in 2021. It is a children's drama directed by Aleksandr Domogarov Jr. and produced by Central Partnership. The story was inspired by an article called 'Waiting for Two Years' written by Yuri Rost and later adapted into a feature film titled 'Tethered to the Runway'.
