Cause of My Teacher (先生の事情, Sensei no Jijō) is a Japanese manga anthology written and illustrated by Temari Matsumoto. It tells the story of a student who is fond of eyeglasses and confesses his feelings to his teacher. However, he is unsatisfied because the teacher takes off his glasses when they kiss. The manga received mixed reviews, with some critics finding the stories too short and lacking in characterization and plot. Despite the criticisms, Cause of My Teacher remains a popular manga among fans who appreciate the glasses theme. The anthology is licensed in English by Blu Manga, a division of Tokyopop, and was released in September 2009. It is continued in another work by Temari Matsumoto called Shinobu Kokoro: Hidden Heart.
