Earthian is a yaoi manga by Yun Kouga about angel watchers of earth which was made into a J.C.Staff-produced anime OVA. The story focuses on a single pair of angels who assess humans' everyday actions and give them positive and negative scores. If humans reach 10,000 negative marks, their world will be destroyed. The angels, Chihaya and Kagetsuya, are sent to Earth to study human behavior. Chihaya, born with black hair and wings, befriends Lucifers and falls in love with Kagetsuya. They face challenges, uncover secrets, and must choose a side. The OVAs follow their missions and encounters with fallen angels. In the first OVA, they encounter a gynoid named Takako and her creator, Dr. Ashino. The second OVA involves rescuing black angel children from Dr. Ashino's lab. In the third OVA, they meet an angel named Messiah, who becomes the ultimate weapon. The fourth OVA focuses on Chihaya's disturbing nightmares and his search for the exiled angel Sapphire. The OVAs provide a glimpse into the manga's themes of mortality, love, and humanity's responsibility to create their own Eden.
