Ginger's Tale is a 2020 Russian animated realistic fantasy fairy-tale musical family film. It is a modern-day adaptation of the 1835 Danish fairy tale The Tinderbox. The film revolves around the trials and tribulations of Ginger, a faithful young friend of a craftsman. The film was written and directed by Konstantin Shchekin, with scriptwriters Tatyana Ilina and Ekaterina Mikhailova. Production was done by Vverh Animation Studio, which closed in 2021. The film was created using frame-by-frame traditional animation techniques.
