Hero Heel is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Makoto Tateno. It was licensed in North America by Digital Manga Publishing and released through its imprint, Juné, on April 8, 2008. The manga was originally released by Biblos on August 10, 2005, but publication was taken over by Libre Publishing after Biblos went bankrupt in 2006. The manga consists of three tankōbon, which were released between June 30, 2007, and March 10, 2007, with the last two volumes being published first. Hero Heel is licensed in Taiwan by Egmont Manga & Anime and in Germany by AnimePro.
