Metro is a 2013 Russian disaster film based on the novel of the same name by Dmitry Safonov. The story is set in Moscow Metro, where a tunnel station called Park Kultury is starting to fail. A tunnel night crawler named Sergeitch notices a leak in the tunnel and informs the assistant station master. Meanwhile, Irina Garina is torn between her lover Vlad Konstantinov and her husband Andrei Garin. The film explores the dangers and conflicts that arise as the characters navigate the failing tunnel and their personal relationships.
