Rabies (Russian: Бешенство, romanized: Beshenstvo) is a 2023 Russian thriller film based on the real story of the wild animal rabies outbreak in the Amur Oblast in 2019. The film takes place in the taiga, which is overtaken by an epidemic of rabies that infects wolves. A man decides to hide his son in a hunting lodge, hoping that he will keep his life. Very soon, the heroes will have to fight the strongest predator of the forest.
