Stellvia of the Universe is an anime series set in space. It takes place in the year 2356 AD, 189 years after a devastating electromagnetic shockwave caused by a nearby supernova wiped out 3 billion people on Earth. Humanity has rebuilt civilization and now faces the second shockwave. The series follows the story of the survivors as they unite to confront the challenge.
